THE CORE
Established on January 1st 2023, TheCore Records is a hard dance-focused music label based in Glasgow, Scotland, founded by Snax and co-founded by Duckyy & Refocore. Since its kickoff, TheCore has featured a great list of talented newcomers and established artists within the scene. In 2025, TheCore additionally founded its very own agency, signing artists like "Luden", "Tegula", "TRIGGER WARNING" and more. With frequent releases and events within Scotland, the label is strengthening its status as a forward-looking and future-oriented organization that does not seem to break its purpose and mission.
THE MISSION
TCR started through hosting online events on the discontinued VR platform "Rec Room". Through quality and unique experiences, recognition slowly started to build around the team. Its creative expression and live experiences led them to encourage not only their own mission to provide a platform for all those who seek a connection into a world of like-minded peers but also for other artists to express themselves in their own way—sharing music, passion and staying in touch with the scene.
OUR EVOLVEMENT
What started as an underground movement quickly evolved into more than just a hobby—on February 20th 2024, the first announcement of the label's birth was made public and not long after, Tegula had the honor to start the journey of TheCore with "The Unknown", released March 8th 2024. Since then, more than 50 tracks in all sorts of genres of the harder styles have been featured on the platform—the music and artists have been shaping the status and quality of TheCore more than ever.
But it was never meant to be just the music—the experience couldn't be left out!
TheCore opened a new chapter on February 3rd 2025 with the announcement of its first IRL event "The Awakening", featuring core artists like "Semperfusion", "Refocore", "Snax" and "SYR B2B Gyrox" but also bringing new faces onboard like "MC MatDC".
Not long after, TheCore hosted its 2nd ever IRL event, stacking the number of international acts even higher with artists like "EQUAL2" and "Sanctuary".
With the success these events have brought in and the ever-growing number of new fans to TheCore, it was not long after that the label had to expand its mission in the scene, introducing "TheCore Agency" on October 10th 2025, announcing its first artist "Luden" just one week after.
OUR VISION
TheCore is more than just a collective of people that enjoy hard dance music—it is a 2nd home to some, a safe space for those who seek to escape reality and enter a new dimension. It is a destination that thrives in its own ways and opportunities. We represent more than just sound but a state of mind that shares its love for all sorts of artists and genres but also long-lasting connections.
